The Special Session on ATBD 2017 focuses on all aspects on techniques and applications in Big Data research. The purpose of ATBD is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of innovative ideas, research results, applications and experience from around the world as well as highlight activities in the related areas. Original papers on all aspects of Big Data are solicited for submission to ATBD 2017. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

The event is endorsed by the European Alliance for Innovation, a leading community-based organisation devoted to the advancement of innovation in the field of ICT.
All accepted papers will be published by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world's largest scientific libraries.
Proceedings are submitted for inclusion to the leading indexing services: Elsevier (EI), Thomson Scientific (ISI), Scopus, Crossref, Google Scholar, DBLP.
Papers should be submitted through the conference website and select Special Session ATBD 2017. Papers should be submitted through EAI 'Confy' system at Confy, and have to comply with the SPRINGER format (see Author's kit section).
Regular papers should be up to 10 pages in length.
Short papers should be up to 4 pages in length.
Previously published work may not be submitted, nor may the work be concurrently submitted to any other conference or journal. Such papers will be rejected without review.
The paper submissions must follow the SPRINGER formatting guidelines (see Author's kit section).

Papers must be formatted using the SPRINGER Author's Kit. Detailed instructions and templates are available.
